Welcome to Tifiras Design. By accessing our online store and purchasing our artisanal collections, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all clients and visitors to our site.

1. Artisanal Authenticity & Variations

At Tifiras Design, we celebrate the "perfectly imperfect." Because our pieces - including but not limited to rugs, furniture, and lighting - are hand-crafted by master artisans using traditional techniques, slight variations in color, texture, and dimensions are inherent to the process. These are not flaws but a testament to the Maalem’s handiwork and the soul of Moroccan craftsmanship.

2. Order Acceptance & Pricing

Availability: All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. If an item is no longer in stock after an order is placed, we will notify the client immediately.

  • Pricing: We reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time without prior notice. However, once an order is confirmed, the price will remain fixed.

  • Bespoke Orders: Full payment or a specific deposit is required for all bespoke, custom and made-to-order pieces before the artisanal process begins.

3. Payment Terms

We accept all major credit cards and secure payment methods as indicated at checkout. By submitting an order, the client represents that they are authorized to use the designated payment method and authorizes Tifiras Design to charge the total order amount.

4. Shipping & International Customs

  • Delivery: While we strive to meet all estimated shipping windows, Tifiras Design is not liable for delays caused by third-party carriers or customs inspections.

  • Duties: For international clients, all import duties, taxes, and customs fees are the sole responsibility of the recipient.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this site, including photography, product descriptions, and the Tifiras Design logo, is the exclusive property of Tifiras Design. Use of our imagery or text for commercial purposes without express written consent is strictly prohibited.

6. Limitation of Liability

Tifiras Design shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our products or website. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the specific item in question.

7. Copyright Protection

All original designs, patterns, and architectural silhouettes featured in our collection - specifically those involving the unique hand-pierced patterns of our Dinanderie lighting and custom furniture - are the exclusive intellectual property of Tifiras Design.

  • Design Rights: Our clients acknowledge that the purchase of a product does not grant any license to replicate, reproduce, or create derivative works of our designs.

  • Photography & Content: All website imagery and descriptive prose are protected by copyright laws. Any unauthorized use of our visual or written assets for commercial gain is strictly prohibited and will be met with legal action to protect our artisans’ heritage.

8. Product Representation & Material Integrity

  • Color Accuracy: We strive to display the colors of our products as accurately as possible. However, due to the organic nature of vegetable dyes and the variations in digital displays, we cannot guarantee that the color seen on your screen will perfectly match the physical piece.

  • Natural Aging: Clients should be aware that materials such as unlacquered copper, brass, and solid wood are "living" materials. They will naturally patina or shift in tone over time when exposed to the elements; this evolution is considered a hallmark of quality and is not a grounds for return.

9. Damage During Transit

While we take exhaustive measures to package our treasures securely, accidents may occur during shipping.

  • Inspection Window: Clients must inspect their order immediately upon arrival. Any damage must be reported to customersupport@tifirasdesign.com within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Documentation: To process a claim with our carriers, we require clear photographic evidence of both the damaged item and the original packaging.

10. Custom & Bespoke Agreements

For all custom commissions, bespoke orders:

  • Production Commencement: Once a design is approved and the deposit is paid, the order is considered "in production" and cannot be canceled or modified.

  • Artisanal Timeline: While we provide estimated completion dates, these are subject to the pace of traditional craftsmanship and international logistics. Tifiras Design is not liable for extensions in lead times for bespoke creations.

11. Force Majeure

Tifiras Design shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure in performance due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, global supply chain disruptions, or customs-related delays.

12. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of our service, product line, or terms at any time. Continued use of the site following such changes constitutes an acceptance of the updated Terms of Service.
